OVERVIEW
Spend an hour learning how to map your network. Through a guided exercise, you will identify the nodes (and perhaps even supernodes!) that surround you. You will determine your strongest and weakest links, and uncover the untapped potential within the connections you already have. Finally, we will discuss outreach strategies for energizing your network.
WHAT TO BRING
You will begin to make a network map in this workshop, much like a mind map. Come with a large piece of paper and pens/markers/pencils of different colors. If you have an online tool you already use for mind maps, that should work too.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
This workshop is intended anyone in business development. Mapping your network is a great way to find prospects and referrals that hopefully lead to clients. However, mapping your network would also benefit jobseekers, fundraisers, and anyone who's looking to build their influence and connections.
OPTIONAL COACHING
This is only a 1-hour workshop. This means we will move fast and stay mostly at a 30,000-ft view. If you would like more personalized support to go deeper into your specific situation, there is an additional option to add a coaching session to your workshop fee.
